To meet the rising costs of materials and equipment we use at the clinic and to continue to provide fair rates to our clinical staff, we will be raising our rates as outlined below. This will allow us to continue to provide the highest quality of service to you and our community.

Private Physiotherapy Appointments:

30-minute physio: $93

60-minute initial assessment and treatment: $112.00

60-minute pelvic floor: $173.00

Starting April 1st, ICBC will cover physiotherapy appointments for the following amounts:

$147 Assessment visit

$93 Standard treatment

*there will continue to be no user fees for ICBC visits

Please note the following before your visit: While face masks are no longer required, those to prefer to wear a mask during their appointment are more than welcome to do so. If you feel ill, please call the clinic to reschedule your appointment, or consider changing your appointment to a virtual Telehealth session with your therapist.

John obtained his Kinesiology Diploma from Langara and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. Additionally, he has completed his intro to Clinical Pilates training through Calibrate Pilates and has gone on to further his understanding of Pilates by incorporating it’s principles into his treatment approach.

Working as a personal trainer, fitness instructor and fitness coordinator over the last 10 years has given John a wide skill set. John prefers taking a holistic approach and utilizes movement and breath as his main therapeutic modality.

Holding a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from the esteemed University of Sao Paulo in Brazil and a Master’s in Science in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Alberta in Canada, Larissa combines her international education to provide top-notch care. Tina’s passion for rehabilitation sparked early in her athletic career, where she experienced first-hand the impact of injury, along with the value of having a caring and knowledgeable physiotherapist by your side. Her academic journey began at the University of British Columbia, where Tina graduated with her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and Masters of Physical Therapy. Throughout her clinical experience she has worked with clients recovering from sports-related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, neurological injury, post-surgical recovery, and individuals living with persistent pain.

Tina utilizes collaborative and personalized treatment plans that encompass manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and education to support her clients in achieving their goals. She strives to empower her clients by giving them the knowledge and tools to be active participants in their rehabilitation journey both inside and outside of the clinic.

Tina has completed her Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Level 1 Diploma through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and continues to engage with coursework to be up to date on how to best support her clients.

As a lifelong participant in various sports and outdoor recreation, Justin has combined his dedication for physical activity with his devotion to supporting patients in a profession that allows him to empower individuals towards healthy living and personal improvement.

Justin’s dream of becoming a physiotherapist began at a young age when, like many of his patients, he suffered an injury through sport that introduced him to the tremendous benefits of physiotherapy. This dream became a reality upon his graduation from the University of British Columbia’s Master of Physical Therapy Program following his completion of a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree. During his education he strengthened his passion towards manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education. Justin has continued his post-graduate education by receiving his certification from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association for Level 1 and 2 - Lower of the Orthopaedic Division Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Program, in addition to IMS needling certification.

Stephen completed his Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) and Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. Stephen has also obtained his Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Level 1 certification.

Fluent in English, Cantonese, and conversational Mandarin, Stephen’s treatment philosophy is to empower clients to reach their highest potential in function and goals be it returning to sports, work, or play by utilizing manual therapy and exercise prescription to target the root of their problems.

Hayley graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2010. After graduation, Hayley completed numerous postgraduate clinical courses. Hayley is certified in intramuscular stimulation (IMS, Dry Needling) and anatomical acupuncture. She has additional training in manual techniques including muscle energy techniques, peripheral manipulations, McKenzie, Mulligan Concepts and pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Prior to working with Woodland Physiotherapy, Hayley practiced as a Physiotherapist in outpatient orthopaedics and sports physiotherapy as well as a medical/legal consultant physiotherapist in both Canada and U.S.A. Hayley treated a large population span from infants to seniors. Her practice encompassed assessment, treatment and providing discharge recommendations for people involved in motor vehicle accidents, worksite injuries, sports injuries, surgical candidates, general orthopedic and pregancy/post-natal pelvic floor concerns.

Amanda has been fascinated by the way people move for most of her life, starting from when she was a young athlete in modern pentathlon. After years of competing nationally and internationally in fencing and shooting, she decided to turn her interest in the human body into a career. She completed her undergraduate degree in Science (Biology) and Psychology at the University of British Columbia, then went on to attain a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto.

She has completed extensive post-graduate training in needling techniques and manual therapy. She has completed her Upper and Lower Quadrant Manual Therapy level 3 in pursuit of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy Course as well as being both UBC Chan Gunn IMS certified and Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute certified. She is also trained in the Integrated Systems Model (Lee & Lee), Neural and Visceral manipulation and is a certified K-taping and Pelvic Floor therapist.

She has a keen interest in helping people manage their injuries and symptoms, returning them to their regular activities while minimizing risk of re-injury. Junichi has completed his Masters degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from the University of British Columbia, and holds a Bachelors in Kinesiology from the same university. As a student, he worked as an Athletic Trainer for varsity athletes, treating sport-specific musculoskeletal injuries. Junichi uses the Integrated Systems Model by Diane Lee, a whole body approach that finds suboptimal patterns within the body through a hands on, head to toe assessment. He is certified in functional dry needling through Acupuncture Canada and has completed post graduate education on vestibular rehabilitation and dermoneuromodulation.
